Review; halo super concentrated fabric conditioner

So was accepted to review an item from halo non bio. Had a little look on the site and decided to choose the super concentrated fabric conditioner. This has a lovely smell to it was just a nice smell and not to strong like some conditioners I find. Only need less then a cap full for a load of washing I find that is just enough, but they do have a chart on there website below each product of how much is recommended to use. When  took my washing out to be dried you could smell the conditioner on it. Some you cant even smell on the clothing once washed but you could smell this and smelt lovely. After drying the clothes there were very soft and dint feel rough or anything. My son has mild dry skin and some effect his skin so was a bit wary washing his clothes with this but I tried some of his clothing with it and popped it on him and his had no reaction to it or anything which has been great :)!!

It has a great easy to iron formula- "Using easy iron technology this means reduced static in the wash which help your clothing dry quicker and iron smoother. Ideal for sports wear clothing and your all your families clothing"
Very kind to sensitive skin so great for people who have skin allergies- "Halo SUPER super concentrate uses Halo fragrances which revitalize your clothing without leaving behind overpowering fragrances which can lead to skin irritation."
They use 50% less packaging making it more friendly to the environment.
Can be used with any liquid laundry liquid product.

This picture was taking after the top was hung to dry now normally my clothing end up with loads of creases but after using this there not a lot there at all.
These come in 1ltr bottles which is 50 washes per bottle. You have to purchase 6 at £22.61 which works out at a great price of 8p per wash. For all my readers you get a fab 20% of over there site using code TANITA20 when you check out.
There site has many other products including detergent, pet range, sports range, non bio range and much more.
You also get free delivery for any deliveries over £30.

If you head on over to their Facebook page they are running a competition

Review; Slow cooker liners

This are amazing... Saves a lot of cleaning just pop one in slow cooker and pop the ingredients in.. Once your food is cooked take it out and throw the liner away. Then all it takes is a quick wipe down of the slow cooker no scrubbing to try get stains or food of that is stuck on the side of the pot. Another great thing about these if you leave food to cool and remove with the liner and tie up you can freeze in the liner or store the food in the fridge for another day.  These fit most slow cookers. Save so much time after cooking food so only thing left to wash is what you eat on and the cutlery :)!! These also help save your pot from general wear and tear.

Has your slow cooker got a hairline crack in it?? Thinking about buying a new one but cant quite afford to well why not use one of these liners to get some more use from it
The picture at the top is food cooked without a liner. So will need to be soaked and scrubbed.
The picture at the bottom is food cooked with a liner. So will only need to have a wipe down with wet cloth.

They are BPA Free so safe to use. They also WILL NOT melt n your slow cooker.

These can be brought from there website here for £1.39 (Pack of 4)
If you order 5 packs or more you get free delivery :)!! Which are a lot cheaper then anywere else I have seen.

April fools

So today is April fools day when all the silly jokes come out!! Personally I don't like the pregnancy ones due to the fact it can upset people who sadly lost there little ones, going through IVF or cant have little ones :(!.. But must admit have seen some funny ones this morning that have made me chuckle like someone asking how long to make toast in slow cooker. So what April fools jokes have you played over the years?? Share in comments below :)!

Pork roast in a bag- Slow cooker recipe

Pork roast in a bag- Slow cooker recipe

Fancy a roast dinner but don't want loads of washing up afterwards or having to stand over a hot oven for long time then why not do it in a slow cooker :)!!!

  • Joint of Pork
  • Potatoes cut to the size you require
  • Any Vegetables
  • Gravy
  • Bake in bag
  • Yorkshire mixture (2 medium eggs, 2 heaped table spoons self raising flour, 2 heaped tables spoons  plain flour, 4 table spoons milk mix together. Makes roughly 8-12)
Pop the cut potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker then place a little bit of water in the bottom then pop the veg on top, you can do this either way round. I cheated this time round and got frozen vegetables as haven't got any fresh vegetables in at the moment.

Then pop the joint of pork inside the bake in bag and pour the mixture in and move the joint all about in the bag (mine is a garlic & herb one from Morrisons with picture of chicken thighs on the front. Loosely tie it and place on top of the vegetables.

Pop slow cooker on low for 4 hours and med- high for 3 hours it does all depend on slow cooker. After then i took the joint out and popped it on a baking tray along with the potatoes just to make them crispsy, whilst the Yorkshire puddings were cooking in the oven. Whilst they are in the oven make up some gravy and pop it in slow cooker with the vegetables. Once Yorkshires are done serve all the food and Enjoy :)!!!

What do you like to have for a Sunday roast dinner??? Comment below :)Look forward to hearing what you have...

Fakeaway Slowecooker recipe

Fakeaway Recipe (Homemade Doner Kebab)

  • 500g Lean Lamb Mince (can be done with any mince if you don't like lamb)
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano Dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Mixed Herbs
  • Pinch Of Garlic Salt
  • Sprinkle Of Salt
  • Sprinkle Of Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Dried Italian Spiced Herbs
  • Pitta Bread
  • Salad
  • Tin foil

Put the Mince in a bowl and pop in each ingredient at a time and mix all together. Now this is the fun part start beating and punching it all as you need to beat it real hard to mix it right in and to get any air gaps out of the meat (this is to stop it from going dry!)

Shape the meat into a loaf shape and wrap in tin foil. When all done get some foil balls and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker. I always pop a little water in the bottom of the slow cooker just to cover the bottom as don't like using it dry. Pop about 4 holes in the bottom of the wrapped meat and pop the loaf on top of the foil balls with holes facing downwards this helps the fat to drain out and wont be sitting in its fat. Pop the slow cooker on high for 3-4 hours, low 5-6 hours (may vary for each slow cooker)

Dont be tempted to lift the lid whilst its cooking as it take a while for slow cookers to regain there heat. Check just before it should be done and see if the meat cooked. Once cooked use a potato peeler to thinly slice your meat. Heat up the pitta bread for few minutes under grill. Pop meat into sliced pitta bread with some salad and enjoy :)!!

Review; lima bird print t-shirt ash grey (Weird Fish)

Was so happy to be able to review for Weird fish as absolutely love there clothing :)!!!!  So had a flick through there website and decided on lima bird print t-shirt ash grey which is £24.95 comes in ash grey or magenta. I went for the ash grey. They come in sizes 8 all way to size 20 :)!! When this top arrived in postage packaging the packet has weird fish written on the outside of it so if its a prezzie for someone need to hope they don't see it. The top is such a lovely fit with flying flamingoes over it. The collar and the arms are slightly rolled up and sits very nice upon the body.I find with quite a few top never sit right on me and always seem to rise up but this top hasn't done this at all and really loving it. I find this top can go with near enough everything jeans, leggings, jeggings would even go with shorts in the summer.
The top is 100% cotton and needs to be washed on 30 cold wash.

I have washed the top and to dry I popped it on a airer to dry. The top still looks brand new after using washing and drying :).
